When I set out on this challenge my goal was to turn and show you 100 bowls in 100 days. If you have been following along on my little odyssey you know that I didn’t make it. Day 100 was October 17th and in that time I was able to turn over 50 bowls but I only took pictures of 25. So I’m going to show bowls 21 through 25 here and call an end of the challenge.

Bowl #21 is a 7 1/2 inch Curly Maple wooden bowl. The bowl is 3 3/8 inches tall. This bowl has a lot of color in it because I left the log setting in my yard for a few months. You can read more about this bowl here.

Bowl 22 is an 8 inch Curly Maple wooden bowl that is 2 1/4 inches high. This bowl also has some nice color in it and even has some on the sapwood on one part of the rim. You can find more about this bowl here.

The following three bowls have all been sold and therefore there isn’t a link to any of the individual bowls.

Bowl #23 is a 6 inches in diameter X 1 1/2 inches high. The foot is 2 1/4 inches wide and has been turned with a little concave to add stability. Approximately 1/4 inch down from the rim I’ve added a decorative textured ring all around the bowl. This wooden bowl has a flat undercut rim that gently slopes into the bowl. The bowl has been finished with an all natural Walnut oil and wax finish which makes it food safe and then it has been buffed to bring it to a nice luster.

This wooden bowl has a flat undercut rim that gently slopes into the bowl. The bowl has been finished with an all natural Walnut oil and wax finish which makes it food safe and then it has been buffed to bring it to a nice luster.
