How many of you can remember Dino Crocetti’s song, That’s Amore? No? How many of you are saying who’s Dino Crocetti, that song was by Dean Martin? You would be right, Dino Crocetti changed his name to Dean Martin and became a star. How about the line from the song, “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s Amore”? I believe that it’s from one of his movies but I can’t think of the name of it right now. I’m sure someone reading this will remember the name. Please let me know if you do. That song combines two of my all-time favorite things, pizza and movies.
I’ll use that as a segway into introducing a wonderful pizza cutter. This isn’t exactly a new product for me. I’ve made them for a couple of years now but only selling them at some of the shows that I do. I introduced these two years ago at The Artisan Bread Fair and quickly sold out. This year’s Artisan Bread Fair is Saturday, July 30th from 9am to 3pm at the Skowhegan Fair Grounds in Skowhegan, Maine. Come by if you like many different varieties of fresh bread and pizza cooked in wood fired ovens. There is a lot more to this fair including artisan’s selling their handmade products.
So, back to the pizza cutter. This pizza cutter features a 4-inch stainless steel cutting wheel and a five color laminated wood handle that is about 6 inches long. The overall length of the entire cutter is just under 11 inches. The cutter is also safe to wash in your dishwasher.
If you would like to learn more about this pizza cutter you can visit my Dailey Woodworking store on Etsy by clicking here. We are in the process of building a new and improved website for Dailey Woodworking so I won’t be putting anything new on the site for about a month when I hope to début the new site.
