**Pen #8, Gun metal Katahdin pen made in stars and thin blue wavy line acrylic**

Today is a throw back Thursday post. I made this pen a few weeks ago, as a birthday present, for a friend of mine who is a state police officer. I wanted to make something that showed the respect that I have for him and as a thank you for the great job that he does for us.

This pen was done in the Katahdin style and features gun metal plating. The upper barrel of this pen features white acrylic stars cast in a sea of blue acrylic. The lower barrel is made up of black and white wavy stripes with lone blue wavy line of acrylic. You can learn more about the pen by clicking here.
